National Cash Advance currently operates in 5 states with over 100 locations. Advance America Cash Advance, the parent company of National Cash Advance, first opened in November 1997 and grew to over 800 locations in a period of only two years. In October 1999, Advance America enhanced its national presence by acquiring over 500 National Cash Advance locations and converting most of them to Advance America centers. Through this combination of acquisition and new store openings, the company's national growth continues today. As the largest provider of payday cash advance services in the United States, Advance America currently operates approximately 2,850 centers and 84 limited licenses in 35 states, the United Kingdom and Canada.
